2017 - Posted first Top 10 season (finishing No.7); won two WTA titles at Roland Garros (d. Halep in final) and Seoul (d. Haddad Maia in final); at Roland Garros became the first Latvian player to reach the championship match at a Grand Slam; runner-up at Charleston (l. to Kasatkina in final); SF four times at Auckland (l. Davis), Prague (l. Kr.Pliskova), Wuhan (l. Barty) and Beijing (l. Halep); QF twice at Acapulco and Wimbledon; reached 3r at Australian Open, Eastbourne and US Open; fell 2r once and 1r six times (incl. going 1-2 in round robin stage at WTA FInals in SIngapore); made Top 10 debut on September 11; won two WTA doubles titles.
